NEWS FLASH: Postmenopausal women may be able to ward off breast cancer by simply being more active. Researchers at the American Cancer Society found women over 50 who walked for at least one hour per day had a 14-percent lower chance of developing breast cancer. And more vigorous exercise lowered the risk even further.
What’s the connection between exercise and breast cancer? Researchers say exercise affects a woman’s hormones, insulin resistance, weight, and other factors related to breast cancer risk. All good!

And, I believe that with every step I take, I’m that much closer to better health!
But, I don’t run just for good health or weight loss. I also run to clear my mind, solve problems, and meditate. Moving your body is a powerful tool to help with just about everything. And, as I found shortly after starting my program, one positive healthy action begets another: I now do push-ups, eat healthier foods, sleep more soundly, and just feel a heck of a lot better than I did before turning 50.
