chap 05The ancient Greeks knew a lot about the power of olive oil for health and beauty, and in recent years I’ve embraced it’s tremendous benefits, too.

I put it on my hair and skin, and ingest at least two tablespoons every day in my food. For sure, too much of anything, even something as healthy as olive oil, isn’t always a great idea . . . so make sure your intake isn’t over the recommended daily amount. Keep in mind that olive oil is a high caloric food, too.

Check out the newest episode of THE BEST OF EVERYTHING AFTER 50 web series for details on how a little bit of olive oil can improve your health, looks, and life! It’s even great for pets! (You can catch a cameo of Gunther the Wonder Dog in the video : ))

I’d love to hear from you! How do you use olive oil for better health and beauty? Share your ideas in the comments section below.

Until next time, remember this: We can’t control getting older . . . but . .  we can control how we do it.
